A few words about Trevor - Trevor's a Project Ecologist and his passion in wildlife started at a very early age, his main aim being to understand more about our native wildlife so that he can help conserve it. More recently he carried out a study on the Nightingale, which has sadly declined by 74% in Hampshire over the last twenty years.
Trevor's interest in wildlife and conservation has led him to team up with friends in a company that publishes books and greetings cards with a wildlife theme. WILDGuides based in Hampshire is a non profit-making company which supports conservation projects world-wide through the sale of its merchandise. Some of the titles so far include, Birds, Mammals and Reptiles of the Galapagos Islands and Whales and Dolphins of the European Atlantic. The latest title, Britain's Butterflies is the first guide to show all the stages in the life cycle of Britain's breeding butterflies using photographs in a concise and easy-to-read book. Butterfly Conservation will benefit with every book sold.
To quote Trevor "I hope that you will get as much pleasure looking at the photographs, as I did seeking out the subjects and photographing them".
