Malham Cove's 240ft high limestone face dates to the Ice Age.
Gordale Scar, also created during the Ice Age is a mile to the east of Malham.
These crook's sit high above Malham on the path leading to Gordale Scar.
Looking towards the beautiful Dentdale. A freight train on its journey south crosses the Dent Head Viaduct.
The Carlisle to Leeds sprinter leaves Dent Station on its way south. In the background the Dent Head Viaduct is lit by a shaft of afternoon sun.
A field of buttercups brighten up a dull day near Redmire in Wensleydale.
