Com Head, beyond which is Rumps Point the site of an Iron Age fort. The large rock out to sea is known as The Mouls.

The dangerous rocks at Trevone that claimed the trawler "Smiling Thro" in 1924. Below all that remains of the trawler.

The Yarmouth steam trawler "Smiling Thro" lies wrecked on Rocky Beach, Trevone in April 1924. The ship originally built for the Admiralty was called "Neaptide" and launched in December 1920.
