The second route also starts in Water Lane, again walk up the lane to the main road but this time turn right. Walk up the slightly rising path out of the village and take the first right down a narrow lane passing open fields to Itchen Stoke Mill.

After passing the mill you go over a three arch bridge where the road joins East Lane, turning right brings you to the Bush Inn. Above, a Little Grebe makes its way upstream, below a Grayling.
