~~~~~~~~~~ Spring Has Arrived, or Has It ? ~~~~~~~~~~
Now does this look like spring? These images were shot within twenty-four hours of those on page one. Seven o'clock Sunday morning and we awoke to a scene like this, the city didn't have too much snow but it was reported that many outside the city had three inches or more. The image above was taken at the height of the blizzard looking toward the city just under a mile away, below an hour later with better visibility and you can see the clock tower of Barclay's Bank.
This Magpie took the opportunity to have a snow bath...
...while this Pigeon doesn't look too happy about the situation.
For a short while the snow stopped our Blue Tits nest building.
Winnall Moors Nature Reserve ~ Same day and less than six hours later this happened, apart from a few snowmen you wouldn't have believed the scenes above were taken a few hours earlier.
Sedge Warbler...
...and a Wren in a courtship dance.
